Lord Neil Gibson: Working with Royalty

Between 2008 and 2011, Lord Neil Gibson visited the Kingdom of Lesotho is South Africa. Naturally, he interacted with the Kingdom’s residents and eventually forged a relationship with the members of the royal family, including Prince Seeiso and his brother, the King of Lesotho. During his visit, he secured the chance to help the royal family and the residents of the Kingdom by rebuilding the infrastructure within the community.

To help Lesotho, Lord Neil Gibson enlisted the aid of Twin Peaks Investment Group,  which was created to work on the economic growth of the Kingdom of Lesotho. Twin Peaks Investment Group has three main goals:

  1. To improve the transportation options in the country.
  2. To enhance the ability of the people of the country to use its natural resources.
  3. To create a higher standard of living.

Lord Neil Gibson immediately recognized the potential of Lesotho, which is a beautiful country that has a great deal of natural resources at hand. From a thriving mining industry to a relatively large volume of water, the land of Lesotho is one of the country’s most valuable assets. In fact, approximately 50 percent of the country’s residents earn an income through agricultural work or the raising of animals. Through his work with the royal family and Twin Peaks Investment Group, Lord Neal Gibson was able to contribute to the development of several key initiatives.

The textile industry already had a presence in the country of Lesotho when Lord Neil Gibson came on the scene, but its investments in the Kingdom were contingent upon temporary trade initiatives. To keep the investments long-term, Lord Neil Gibson knew that changes would need to be made. The main improvements that were necessary include:

  1. Improving Lesotho’s access to other markets.
  2. Further developing the country’s industries, most notably agriculture, manufacturing, and service.
  3. Increasing the productivity of workers and improving their ability to complete their work efficiently.
  4. Refining the investment opportunities.
  5. Encouraging entrepreneurial spirit.
  6. Improving the infrastructure, allowing for safer and more efficient transportation and trade.

The Kingdom of Lesotho is a beautiful country that is still growing. Thanks in part to Lord Neil Gibson, the citizens have a brighter future and a more stable infrastructure on which to base their mounting economy.

Can Lord Neil Gibson Change the World One Shipping Container at a Time?

Becoming a successful humanitarian is something that takes a great deal of creativity. Every person and organization in the world seems to be short on resources, especially when it comes to sharing their excess, so Lord Neil Gibson and other philanthropic leaders must always think outside of the box in order to create the greatest amount of good that they can.

Lord Neil Gibson was involved in a very creative and unique philanthropic initiative. From 1998 to 2000, Lord Neil Gibson was an Ambassador at Large to West Africa. To better serve this region, he began scouting for ways to improve the conditions in the countries of this part of the continent. Firestone Tire Company, which is a very well-known brand name in the United States, has a billion acre rubber plantation in Liberia, which Lord Neil Gibson used to the advantage of West Africa.

After discussing his plan with the leaders of Firestone Tire Company, Lord Neil Gibson was granted permission to utilize the empty shipping containers that were transported to Liberia to send humanitarian resources. So, the shipping containers would arrive in the United States filled with rubber, Firestone Tire Company emptied them, and then Lord Neil Gibson was responsible for filling them with all sorts of supplies and then shipping them back to the rubber plantation.

Before the shipping containers were filled, Lord Neil Gibson worked closely with California schools to collect books, computer equipment, and clothing for those in need in West Africa. He appealed to many people in the community to help him collect the supplies needed to fill the shipping containers, and through his hard work these containers were indeed shipped, full, back to West Africa.

This is the kind of resourcefulness that a truly great humanitarian project needs to get off the ground. By approaching the project from a unique angle and setting up a very creative solution, Lord Neil Gibson was able to contribute to the development of a successful humanitarian initiative.

Throughout the years, Lord Neil Gibson has lent his resourceful thinking to a variety of projects around the world. His creativity and readiness to jump into any philanthropic cause that he believes in makes him a wonderful asset to many organizations.
